Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

The short version

  • The Texts2PDF shortcut runs on your iPhone. Your messages and the PDFs it makes are never sent to us.
  • When you buy, we keep your email address and order details so we can send you the install link and help you.
  • Stripe handles payments. We never see your card number.
  • This website uses Google’s ad cookies. Visitors in Europe are asked first, and anyone can turn them off at any time in Cookie settings.

Who we are

Texts2PDF is made by Novasoft Mobile. You can reach us at support@novasoft.ro.

The shortcut and your messages

Texts2PDF runs inside Apple’s Shortcuts app on your iPhone. It reads the conversation you choose and creates the PDF on the device. The conversation and the PDF aren’t sent to our servers or to anyone else, and we have no access to your messages, contacts or files.

What happens to a PDF after it’s created is up to you. It stays on your iPhone unless you save it to a cloud service or share it.

When you buy

Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your card details, email address, name and billing details under its own privacy policy. From Stripe we receive and store:

  • your email address, and your name if you gave it
  • the amount, currency and date of the purchase
  • Stripe’s reference numbers for the payment

We also create a private install link for your order. We use this information to deliver the install link, send it again when you ask, handle refunds and support requests, and keep the accounting records the law requires.

Emails

We email you the install link right after your purchase, and again when you ask for it on the restore page. We don’t send marketing emails. Emails are delivered by an email service provider that uses your address only to deliver them.

This website

Our server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. They are deleted after 14 days.

When you ask for your install link again, we store the email address and IP address of the request for 30 days, to stop the form from being abused.

When you buy, we get an email about the order. Besides your email address, your name, the amount and the country of your payment, it says how you found the site (for example a Google ad and the keyword it was shown for, a Google search, or the website you came from), the first page you visited and the page you bought from, how many pages you looked at and for how long, and the kind of device and browser (for example iPhone and Safari). Your browser keeps these details for that visit only, without cookies, and sends them only when you go to checkout. They are saved with your payment at Stripe. No IP address is included.

Cookies and Google Ads

We advertise on Google. If you visit from Europe (the European Union, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), the site first asks whether to allow ad cookies, and nothing from Google loads until you choose Allow. Elsewhere, Google’s ad cookies are on unless you turn them off in Cookie settings. We tell whether you’re in Europe from your device’s time zone, which stays in your browser.

When ad cookies are on, the site loads Google’s tag for Google Ads. Google sets cookies on this site and on its own websites, and receives the page you’re on (without the private parts of the address, such as install links) and the website you came from. Google uses this to tell us which ads lead to purchases and to show our ads again to people who visited (remarketing), under its own privacy policy. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We don’t use Google Analytics or any other analytics.

When you arrive from one of our ads, the link carries Google’s click ID and the keyword the ad was shown for. Your browser keeps the click ID for that visit, and for up to 90 days when ad cookies are on. If you buy, we store it with your order and report the purchase to Google Ads with the order number, amount and time. We never send your name or email address to Google. When ad cookies are off, Google’s tag isn’t loaded, but a purchase can still be reported this way, without cookies, using the click ID from that visit.

Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it at any time in Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page. Choosing Don’t allow turns them off and removes the Google cookies this site had set. Your light or dark theme choice is also saved in your browser and is never sent to us.

How long we keep your data

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and so that we can send your install link again. Restore requests are deleted after 30 days and server logs after 14 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including in the European Union under the GDPR, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@novasoft.ro. We may have to keep some order records where the law requires it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
